RE: RV Covers - A Must or a Waste of Time
I have a CalMark on a Chinook Concourse. It does not fit like a surgical glove. The Chinook and the cover are not surgically clean and I have experienced no disaster. It was on all winter and I saw no problems with the finish.
KOA Cancellation Policy
Does anyone stay at KOA? I just had to cancel a reservation and had to pay a $10.00 cancellation fee. I won't ever make a reservation with KOA again unless I have no choice.
RE: Anyone cancelling trips due to gas prices?
I am taking a trip to Seattle by way of Yellowstone in June/July. It will be about 5000 miles, so I will spend about $2000.00 just for gas. We can cut back on gas and it won't affect the price much right now. Speculation in oil and the weak dollar are driving the price, not supply and demand. Gas won't be any cheaper next summer and I have only so many chances to go. I'll go now and pay the price. All we will do if we stop traveling is hurt the people who depend on tourism for their livings. I understand if people just can't afford long trips, but if everyone at least travels close to home the tourism industry will not be affected as much. Just my two cents worth.
